Free Trolley Rides Starting This Week in Downtown Flint

The trolley will start operating this Thursday in the downtown area.

The Flint DDA, Diplomat Pharmacy, the MTA, Kettering University and U of M-Flint have all teamed up to bring the trolley to the Flint area. The kickoff event is this Thursday at 4 PM.

The trolley will make stops at seven different downtown locations: Tenacy Brewing, the Farmer's Market, City Hall, Soggy Bottom and more. Officials are hoping that this encourages people to explore different locations downtown, and they want to make it easier to get around.
