A Flushing resident got to spin the wheel, meet Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White, and take home a nice wad of cash from 'Wheel of Fortune' Monday (2/24) night.

Eureka McCormick is a teacher for Swartz Creek Community Schools and cashed in for $14,550 as the night's second place contestant.

Who is Eureka McCormick?

Eureka introduced herself as a teacher who has a passion for teaching children to code, and noted that she especially loves teaching girls and girls of color because coding is often seen as a skill that is primarily dominated by males.

She told Ryan Seacrest that she also loves line dancing and ballroom dancing.

How Much Did Eureka McCormick Win on Wheel?

'Out of Office' was the show's theme for the night, and the first puzzle - 'World's Best Boss' - went to Ryan Bast, one of the the show's other contestants.

But Eureka came back strong in the second round, scoring $1,200 by revealing a couple of Gs on the puzzle board. Then she landed on the 'Mystery Wedge' (which could reveal $10,000 or a bankrupt when flipped) and took a long moment to decide if she wanted to take the risk.

"You know what, I'm going for it, I'm going for it!" she exclaimed as she picked up the wedge and revealed the $10,000 prize.

Since McCormick went on to solve the puzzle, she got to keep the $10,000, bringing her total to $14,450 for the night.

Now, take a look at Eureka's puzzle and see if you can figure it out before we reveal the answer.
