Another one of the reasons that the internet can be a GOOD place!

A Tallahassee, Florida police officer is going viral because of a random good deed.

Officer Tony Carlson had just finished responding to a call when a homeless man, named Phil, asked for his help. He said that he was trying to get a job at McDonald's and wanted to be clean-shaven, but there was something wrong with his razor. Officer Carlson figured out that it was a loose screw and fixed it.

And then, he helped him get cleaned up. And a random passerby caught it on camera.

The officer, who has been serving the community for over 20 years, says that he's never gotten this kind of "attention" before and that he sees police as "peace officers" first and foremost. He plans on checking back with Phil to see if he got the job.
