Flint McDonald’s Employee Saved a Customer’s Life – The Good News
Let's be honest - most of us would probably be panicking too much to help out like this.
This is definitely one of those "we wanted to make sure she made a full recovery before we shared it" stories. Thank goodness she's okay!
Barbara Brown went to the McDonald's in the 5500 block of Fenton Road back in September of 2018. Not long after they got there, Barbara suffered a medical emergency and collapsed.
Desiree Gildner, one of the McDonald's employees, immediately stepped in to help - she performed CPR on Barbara until the paramedics arrived. Barbara was taken to the hospital and has since made a full recovery.
Desiree received the Certificate of Lifesaving from McDonald's because of the incident. Bet you didn't know that was a "thing"! Neither did we!
