Flint GM Worker Retires After Almost 63 Years – The Good News [VIDEO]
He has the most seniority of any GM worker, ever.
On Friday, Paul Edwards walked out of the GM plant for the last time ever - after 62.5 years of service. He moved to Flint from Missouri in 1954 to work as a maintenance welder.
"His work ethic is beyond compare," UAW Local 659 plant bargaining chair Justin MacNeill told ABC 12.
He says that he'll keep busy at home, but he's nervous about not having a union foreman to call if he has a dispute with his wife, who's the "new boss."
Congratulations, Paul!
