Flint Church Shows Off Their New, Inspiring Sign — The Good News
Look at that - speaking like true Christians.
St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Downtown Flint is a pillar of the community -- they do regular food giveaways, participate in Back to the Bricks and the Crim, and now, they've erected a very welcoming sign on their front lawn that, in my opinion, speaks to the very core of what Christianity should be about.
This really hit home for me, personally. I grew up in a very "churchy" household -- church on Sundays, Wednesdays and sometimes an activity in between. Something awful happened at the second church we went to (take a look at the news today and you can probably figure it out) and, at age 17, I left. I've tried to go back a few times but I just haven't been able to.
Major kudos to St. Paul's! Couldn't have said it better myself! You may just get me back to church.
