Flint Car Show to Help the Homeless – The Good News
Before Back to the Bricks started, a smaller car show was held over the weekend to help our city's homeless population.
Over the weekend, a car show for a good cause took over the Arrowhead Vets Club in Flint. The Concourse Dela Routa is an annual event that gives its proceeds to the Damned Wheel Club's Backpacks For the Homeless.
They had day-long festivities including live music and all kinds of vintage motor vehicles (according to their Facebook page, they even had a vintage lawnmower on display last year). Patrons could donate physical items like backpacks, long underwear, hats, sweatshirts, gloves, hygiene products and more.
If there's one thing that can bring everybody in Genesee County together, it's a car show. What a fantastic event!
