Last Friday, AJ took my mother to Walmart to pick up her new glasses. She has dementia, and uses a walker. To make things easier, AJ grabbed her a wheelchair so they could do some shopping for her afterwards. When she went to find a basket, she found out that this particular Walmart (and many like it) don't offer them to customers anymore - because people steal them.

So my wife ended up carrying items with one arm, while piling the rest onto my mother's lap because she couldn't push a cart at the same time. "Stupid" doesn't even begin to describe this.
