Drive-Thru Dinosaur Quest Coming to DTE
DTE Energy Music Theater may be quiet without sounds of concerts this summer, but it's about to get loud. The music venue is being taken over by dinosaurs.
Jurassic Quest is making its way to Bob Seger Drive with a ton of fun for the whole family. Jurassic Quest is the only dinosaur event that has true to life size dinosaurs you can view in your own car. The dinosaurs roar and move, some even walk around. There are over 70 life-like robotic dinosaurs to view.
The ride through Jurassic Quest is an hour long ride and will take guests through the Cretaceous period, the Jurassic period, and The Triassic period. The drive-thru includes a 50-foot-long Megalodon, 80-foot-long Spinosaurus, a variety of baby dinosaurs, and even marine creatures. Those on the quest will be able to guide themselves through the drive-thru with an online audio tour that can be played through their phone or car speakers.
Although guest are required to stay in their vehicles, there will be a chance to take a safari type photo with a dino themed backdrop. Jurassic Quest will also operate a special Dino Store with employees handling transactions in a cashless and touchless manner and then delivering your purchases to your car.
Jurassic Quest will be "roaming" DTE Energy Music Theater August 6th -16th. You'll need to purchase tickets and reserve your spot as drive-thru times are limited. Cost for your adventure is $49 per vehicle. Those larger vehicles that seat more than 9 people will run you $80.
You can reserve your trip back in time at jurassicquest.com or at 313presents.com.
