Police officers take an oath to protect and serve, right? I understand that we all have stressful days, but when you work hand in hand with the public, you have to take a deep breath and let it go. I'm not sure what the circumstances are here, but watch and let me ask you if the officer's actions were appropriate.

This video, which has gone viral, was taken during a Puerto Rican Day parade in Philadelphia on Sunday. It appears to show Lt. Jonathan Josey striking a woman,  Aida Guzman. It should be noted that this is only one angle of the shot, and there were reports that the woman was attempting to shoot Silly String at the officers. Internal Affairs is investigating the incident.

Having watched the video, do you believe the cop had the right to strike her like that. Does his badge give him certain rights and privileges, or should he be held to a higher standard of behavior?
