Detroit Tigers Begin Their 2022 Season April 8th

The Detroit Tigers will begin their 2022 season on Friday, April 8th. It will be a home game in Detroit against last year's Central Division champs, the Chicago White Sox.

So perhaps the Detroit Tigers will get off to a good start by sweeping the series against the White Sox. Can't wait for the baseball season to begin.

I've been watching the Detroit Tigers since I was about twelve years old and I do remember them winning the world series back in 1968.

I remember it like it was yesterday. The Tigers played against the St. Louis Cardinals and won the World Series four games to three.

The Tigers won the last game 4-1 against the Cardinals on October 10th, 1968. It was one of the best World Series that I can remember.

Overall, the Detroit Tigers have won four World Series titles. They won it in 1935, 1945, 1968, and the last one in 1984. Add to that 11 American League pennants.

I think it's safe to say that the Detroit tigers are long overdue to win another World Series title.

The Tigers organization has spent the last couple of years rebuilding the team with younger baseball players that I'm not that familiar with.

They do have a good team and once they get the right people in each position along with the best hitters in baseball, that's when we'll get much closer to winning another World Series title.

As long as we have Miguel Cabrera on our team, how can we lose? We should get to see his 3,000th hit sometime early in the season. GO TIGERS! (britannica.com)
