Downtown Flint is about to go county with two of the biggest names in country music taking the stage for a couple incredible shows. The Capitol Theatre will be host to country music legends Trace Adkins and Clint Black each with their shows at the iconic Flint venue.

Trace Adkins, who has proved that ladies truly do love country boys with his southern charm, will take the stage on May 5th. Known for such hits as “Every Light In the House Is On”, "Ladies Love Country Boys", and “This Ain’t (No Thinkin’ Thing), Atkins has secured himself as one of the legends of country music.

The Grand Ole Opry member for nearly two decades is also currently set to star in the country music drama Monarch for FOX. The series, set to debut this fall, will pair Adkins alongside actress Susan Sarandon in a story about about country music’s most influential ( fictitious) family. Filming is currently underway in Atlanta.

Clint Black will bring his show to Flint on Saturday, June 11th. The Opry and Grammy-winning country star is best known for his hit song and album "Killin' Time" that has sold over 20 million records, as well as "A Better Man" and "Like the Rain".

Black is also the host of Talking in Circles with Clint Black, where he sits down for one-on-one interviews with Country music artists and celebrities. The show debuted in May of last year and can be seen on the Circle Network.
