Delilah Opens Up About Death of Two Sons; Dealt With ‘Rage’

She tells Dr. Oz that her faith helped to save her sanity.

Cars 108 nighttime host Delilah has dealt with the kind of loss that every parent dreads - the loss of a child. And not just once, but TWICE.

She lost her son Sammy in 2012 after complications with sickle cell anemia and, in 2017, her 18-year-old son Zachariah took his own life. Delilah is convinced that medication that Zachariah was taking for depression was a factor in his suicide.

She told Dr. Oz that she dealt with a lot of rage...and then she met country singer Rory Feek, who lost his wife/musical partner Joey to cancer in 2016. He told her, "you know where they are, and you know you’ll be with them in the future.”

Delilah has two biological children and ten adopted children.
