Construction Barrel from Milwaukee Washes Up in Michigan, Goes Sightseeing
Welcome to the mitt, Darrel the Barrel!
Must've been a slow day for Muskegon - a construction barrel made the 90-mile-long trek across Lake Michigan and washed up on the west side of the state, and city officials made sure it saw the best parts of their city.
The city named him Darrel and took him on a tour of Muskegon. They asked their Facebook fans what he should experience while he visits our fine state - he checked out the butterfly mural downtown, met Moxie the Mastadon and took a tour of the Monet Garden.
Thanks for the laugh, Muskegon. And thanks for showing a fellow Milwaukeean some of the beautiful places in West Michigan.
