Cedar Point Renames Roller Coaster After Chicago Cubs…For One Weekend
This is what happens when you lose a World Series bet.
It's opening weekend at Cedar Point, and one of everybody's favorite coasters is being renamed for a couple of days.
The Top Thrill Dragster will be called the Top Thrill Cubster this Saturday and Sunday, in honor of the Chicago Cubs winning the World Series against the Cleveland Indians this last fall.
The park made a bet with Six Flags Great America, the theme park just outside of Chicago. The losing city had to name a coaster at their park after the winning team, and needless to say, the Cubs (deservedly) won that title.
Of course, the logo will be changed and guests will be able to purchases keepsakes with the new logo before it's changed back.
If you're going to the park this weekend, be prepared for flocks of Cubs fans.
