Earlier today we reported about a man driving down I-96 in Fowlerville who literally hit a foul. A wild turkey crashed through his windshield. It wasn't at dawn or at dusk when you would expect to see deer on the run. His incident happened during lunchtime around 12:45.

However, another Michigan man found himself in his own traffic turmoil when his car was swallowed by a sinkhole right here in Michigan. The 'Act of God' happened in the cereal capitol of the United States, and probably the world, Battle Creek, Michigan.

Terror Behind the Wheel

As I mentioned earlier today, I can't imagine the idea of a wild turkey flying into, and breaking through my windshield only to end up wrapped around my steering wheel. You can (theoretically) swerve to avoid flying fowl, but not necessarily when you're dealing with heavy traffic on a very well traveled interstate through Michigan during your lunch hour.

But when you're driving on a road late at night with virtually no traffic at the time, would you expect the road you are driving on to literally collapse under you and swallow your car?
