We've all heard about how planes have unfortunate collisions with birds which usually forces the aircraft to either return to the airport they just left, or find another place to safely land.

When a 19-year-old man from Sterling Heights traveling along I-96 near Fowlerville in Livingston County, he somehow drove his 2022 Ford F-250 right into a wild turkey that happened to be flying in his path.

Was The Driver Injured?

The Michigan State Police posted a photo from the aftermath of the incident which happened yesterday (4/24/2005). Luckily the man suffered no injuries. On the other hand the turkey did not come out of the situation gobbling.

As you can see from the photo posted by the Michigan State Police First District on X, the bird obviously did not survive. And unlike car and deer collisions which are more common at dusk and at dawn, this crash happened around 12:45pm yesterday.
