Alysha Flaig gave the prize wheel a hearty spin on the show which aired Monday night (11/14) and when it finally stopped, the 35-year-old learned that she had won $100,000. And as you'll see in the video below, Alysha narrowly missed winning a half million dollars from the Michigan Lottery.
Entering Codes for a Chance to Spin
Flaig tells the Michigan Lottery that she and her husband have been entering codes since the Big Spin first came out. Players enter codes from non-winning Big Spin tickets for a chance to appear on the show, hosted by Detroit basketball champ John Stalley.
“When The Big Spin first came out in 2019, my husband and I entered lots of non-winning tickets,” said Flaig. “This time around, we entered one non-winning ticket and won 50 entries. When I got the call from the Lottery informing me that I was one of the winners, I couldn’t believe it! I now know that sometimes it truly only takes one to win."
Flaig went on to say that she and her husband will use the money she won to pay off their student loans.
More Big Spin
The next two Big Spin second-chance drawings are scheduled for December 28 and March 1 of next year.
