BOO! Senior Citizens Jump In Caskets at Canadian Haunted House
...and the haunted house just happens to be their retirement home.
The residents at Alderwood Estates in Witless Bay, Newfoundland, were excited about giving candy out to trick-or-treaters last Halloween. They were expecting maybe 30 kids...and over 400 showed up.
So, this year, they took it a step further - on Tuesday night, they transformed into a haunted house called Club Med turns to Club Dead.
Caskets were donated by a local funeral home as well as a casket company. The residents put on gory makeup and set up different scenes - from zombie grandmothers to platters with severed heads. In fact, so many of them wanted to jump out of the caskets that they had to hold a lottery.
Every single resident stayed in place until the last kid came through their haunted house.
We totally want to go next year. Road trip?
