Auschwitz, Holocaust Museum: Please Stop Playing Pokemon Here [VIDEO]
Just to further prove that common sense isn't, well, "common."
Officials at the Holocaust Museum in Washington D.C. and Auschwitz in Poland are asking Niantic, the makers of the new Pokemon GO app, to take their sites off locations where people can hunt the cartoon creatures.
People are reporting that the Holocaust Museum, in particular, is listed as a PokeStop where players can get in-game items.
Other concentration camps that have been turned into museums, such as Dachau and Sachsenhausen, are listed as "approved landmarks." Auschwitz tweeted yesterday, asking Niantic to remove them, but the tweet was deleted.
Common sense, people. COMMON. SENSE.
