Are You Ready For Another Michigan Winter?

Last winter was brutal here in Mid-Michigan, from the ice storm that took out power the week of Christmas, to the record breaking snowfall, plows that took out mailboxes across Genesee and Lapeer Counties. How bad will it be this year? Some are saying it will be much worse.

I finally got my back yard hunkered down for the winter.  The pool is closed and fenced in, and hopefully my dog will stay away from it.  What did you learn from last winter?  Do you have any helpful tips to share with fellow Michiganders? Let us know in the comments section below.
