We're headed to Genesee County Animal Control in Flint for AJ's Animals this week to meet Balthazar. Being forgiving and being a fighter are just two of the things he is known to be to the staff at GCAC. This little boy is a young male, all-black cat with a medium hair length. He's already fixed, vaccinated, and ready to go to his furrever home!

Sweet Balthazar had to have his eye removed a month ago when he came to the shelter. He doesn't seem to mind it and really, really wants to come out of his cage and say "meow" to you! He’s so affectionate. His purr and soft fur will melt your heart.

He likes being held, playing with mouse toys, and really enjoys a view of the outside world, so make sure you've got a window perch set up for him.

He needs a loving home as he heals from surgery where he can be spoiled with treats, play, and the affection he deserves. One-eyed cats do great - just as well as their two-eyed friends! This boy is young and he’ll run, jump and play with the best of them.

Shelter hours are Tues-Fri 12-5 pm and Sat 10-1 pm by appointment only. They're located at 4351 W. Pasadena Avenue in Flint.  If you'd like to meet Balthazar or any of their other animals, you can call 810-732-1660 or message their Facebook page.
