$1K Reward Offered: Family of Swans Run Over in Washtenaw County
Officials believe that the family of Trumpeter swans were deliberately run over.
The family of swans were found on the side of the road in Washtenaw County on Wednesday morning. The Humane Society of Huron Valley is offering a $1,000 reward for any information regarding the person who may have done it - based on tire tracks, they believe it was a pickup or a Jeep with 18-20 inch all-terrain tires.
There are photos of the family of swans, but we're not going to post them. Trumpeter swans are considered a threatened species in Michigan.
