This is CRAZY brave of this girl! I'm 32 and I would've peed my pants!

Deputies from the Lapeer County Sheriff's Department responded to a call from a home last Friday. An 11-year-old girl was home alone when a strange car pulled into the driveway. She locked herself in a bathroom and hid in the closet...with her father's shotgun.

The suspect forced his entry into the house (after he knocked on all the doors...if you're going to break into a home, why even knock??). He eventually entered the bathroom and opened the closet door where the girl was hiding. She pointed the shotgun at him, and the suspect fled.

The suspect's car was found 30 minutes later by police, and a 53-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman from Detroit were arrested. It's possible that they've been involved in other home invasions, but it's currently under investigation.

I am BLOWN AWAY by this girl's bravery. Seriously. I'm a grown up, and I don't think I would've been brave enough to grab a gun and hide! Kudos to her!
