10-Year-Old Goldfish Has Surgery

And he's expected to live another 20 years!!!

A 10-year-old goldfish named George had surgery to remove a tumor last week Tuesday in Australia.

His owners were very attached to him, and decided to try surgery instead of putting him down. George swam in a bucket of water laced with anesthetic, and the veterinarian performed the surgery. According to the vet hospital's Facebook page, the surgery went "swimmingly." If kept in good health, George could live up to another 20 years!
