YMCA Santa Run Brings Hordes of Ho-Ho-Ho To Downtown Flint

The second annual YMCA of Greater Flint Santa Run/Walk attracted approximately 1400 Santas to this year's event. Everyone who entered got a 5-piece Santa suit to run or walk in, and the turnout was tremendous. A stream of Santas could be seen running through the College/Cultural area, and there's probably still a few hanging out in downtown Flint to celebrate this fun event. Proceeds went to the YMCA's Partner With Youth campaign. Many folks embellished their Santa suits in unique ways. Many brought their kids in strollers and pets (also dressed for the occasion). The run provided an aid station at the midway point where you could get milk and cookies (I circled back for that). A fun time was had by all, and I certainly look forward to next year's event.
