Well, Auntie Jen...I'm not so sure that he'll hug you again after this.
A horrible woman from New York sued her (now) 12-year-old nephew for $127,000 after she was
injured during an overzealous hug. The incident occurred four years ago at Sean Tarala's eighth birthday party. He was reportedly riding his bicycle, when he saw his Aunt Jennifer arrive. He jumped into her arms, yelling, "Auntie Jen! Auntie Jen!" and knocked her backwards, breaking her wrist. Since then, Sean's mother passed away. So, he's without the most important woman in his life...and his "Auntie Jen" then sues him for $127,000 for the "hardships" she endured from the broken wrist. “I was at a party recently, and it was difficult to hold my hors d’oeuvre plate,” she told the Connecticut Post. Luckily, a jury only took 25 minutes yesterday to throw the lawsuit out.

UPDATE: The law firm representing Jennifer Connell says that her insurance company refused to pay for her treatment, and only offered her $1, so she was forced to go to trial.

Still. STILL. Start a GoFundMe page of something. I've been drowning in medical bills for years; it stinks, but that's the world we live in. You don't SUE your 12-year-old nephew.
