Woman Makes a Wheelchair for Giant Bunny Who Can’t Walk [VIDEO]
"Wherever there is still life, everything deserves a chance."
Martha James, who lives in the UK, has a giant bunny named Bertha. She had some trouble getting around after her hips collapsed in May, so she took her to the vet. Unfortunately, the vet suggested putting her down.
"I've actually seen dogs in wheelchairs and I thought, 'If it works for a dog, then why not a rabbit?'"
So Martha found a puppy wheelchair and adapted it for Bertha. She says that it took her a few days to get used to it, but now, she's rediscovered her independence.
And to the people who say that she should still euthanize Bertha, she has the sweetest sentiment: "My answer to that is that wherever there is still life, everything deserves a chance."
And that is exactly why I'm working so hard to save my son's goldfish. Every living thing deserves a chance!
