And there's more good news because one person in Michigan matched five white balls in Monday night's (10/2) drawing and woke up a millionaire this morning.
In fact, last night's drawing actually produced four brand-new millionaires.
Here's the Breakdown:
One player in Michigan and one player in Delaware matched all five numbers in last night's drawing, and are holding on to tickets that are worth $1 million.
Two other players - one in New York State and one in South Carolina also matched all five white balls and increased their winnings to $2 million because they paid an extra $1 and included the Power Play feature on their tickets.
No Grand Prize Winner
But of the 2.7 million winning tickets sold across the US, no ticket matched all six numbers drawn Monday night. Those numbers are 12, 26, 27, 43, 47, and the red Powerball 5. The Power Play multiplier was 2X.

First Time in History
Here's a fun fact: According to a news release from the Multi-State Lottery Association, this marks the first time in Powerball game history that back-to-back jackpot cycles have generated billion-dollar grand prizes.
The last Powerball jackpot was won on July 19 when a single ticket was worth $1.08 billion. But since then, there have been 32 consecutive drawings without a grand prize winner, resulting in tomorrow's $1.2 billion potential prize.
