Why Do The Roads Still Suck? A City Official Explains [VIDEO]
The head of Public Works for Bay City went to a city commission's meeting this week to explain the process of clearing the roads when the weather gets tough. Multiple issues are preventing the hundreds of man-hours and thousands of dollars worth of work from working on the roads. The drastic changes in temperature are playing a part for sure. As well as the changes from rain to snow we had last week. The rain washes away the pre-treatment they put down for the ice, then it is not effective when the changeover to snow happens. Bob Dion said they are trying their best at the moment, but also always looking for better products and methods for the future.
