A mother-daughter duo who donned black sweatshirts and white garbage bags labeled 'White Trash' is being criticized for wearing Halloween costumes that are offensive. The controversy began when the unidentified pair wore their costumes to Huron Park Elementary School's 'Trunk or Treat' event last Thursday.

Give. Me. A. Break.

It's Halloween. People wear costumes. Sometimes, Halloween costumes are a little offensive. Honey Boo boo, for instance.

Out of all the people they interviewed, this Detroit TV station only chose to include one clip from a man who wasn't offended. "People need to lighten up," he said.

The rest are outraged! OUTRAGED I tell you!!

Again:  Give. Me. A. Break.

While we're on the subject, let's lighten up on Jimmy Kimmel and Julianne Hough for their recent antics. Much ado about nothing.
