Haven't we been through enough this year? We have lost countless celebrities, had what seemed to be the longest election ever, and now there is a whipped cream shortage? I can't with you 2016!

How did this happen you ask? Well, Time Magazine is reporting that there is a national shortage of nitrous oxide, the gas used to make the cans of whipped cream function the way they are supposed to . An accidental explosion at a nitrous oxide plant in Florida in August seems to be the main reason for the shortage. You can still buy tubs of cool whip for dessert toppings this holiday season, but everyone knows its just not the same. I don't know about you, but I am buying all the Reddi-wip I can get my hands on this weekend, it may be the best host gift I can bring!
