It all began as a joke in Sports Illustrated But, Wendy's nine-patty "T-Rex" burger is now a real thing. Is it a push for free publicity, or an attack on common sense?

It was nine years ago that the burger concept was featured as a joke, but Wendy's found out that a lot of customers came in just to order it.  A Wendy's branch in Brandon, Manitoba decided to oblige.

Customers can order the T-Rex burger with nine stacks of hamburger for just $24.99 as a combo. meal.
