The Flint skyline is changing once again.

Over the weekend, crews knocked down what was left of the Flint YWCA building. It's stood tall downtown for the last 60 years.

The spot, which is supposed to be completely cleared out by the end of this fall, will be built into condo units - 92 of them, to be exact, along with a marketplace and some affordable housing. The units would be one, two and three bedrooms.

Residents who live near it say that it wasn't an eyesore, but they've definitely been looking forward to having something new. The new YWCA location is in the Phoenix Building on Saginaw St.
