She was short on money, and the cashier said, "you guys look like you need a blessing tonight."

Ashley Jordan is a stay-at-home mom of three kids. In her Facebook post, she says that her husband's entire check goes to feeding their family. They were out together, shopping for groceries at a Walmart in Columbia, South Carolina on Saturday night.

She says that they usually don't like to shop at Walmart because people can be less-than-kind, but their budget demands it right now. She was digging through her purse, trying to count out the last of her money, and the cashier, Sharnique Dasant, said, "You guys look like you need a blessing tonight." And after tapping a few keys on the cash register, she had paid for half of their groceries.

She asked if they could take a picture and post it on social media, and Sharnique said yes. We're glad she did. :)
