The waitress was used to getting lottery tickets as a tip from one of her regular customers, but this time it REALLY paid off!
Aurora Kephart is a waitress at Conway's Restaurant and Lounge in Oregon. and one of her regular customers let her choose a lottery ticket from a few that he had purchased, as her tip for service. Aurora chose correctly. The ticket she picked turned out to be a lottery ticket that paid $17,500.
Kephart said, "He lets me take whatever tickets I would want. That's a normal thing between us."
After discovering her good fortune, she offered the customer the ticket back. He refused it and let her keep the money!
