Vietnam Vet from Michigan Finally Receives High School Diploma – The Good News
The 71-year-old Midland man is proof to EVERYBODY that it's never too late to graduate.
Jimmey Sequin dropped out of Midland High School to serve his country in the Vietnam war. He was supposed to graduate in 1966, but he decided to go in a different direction and enlist as a Marine. However, Jimmey said that the school was always on his mind.
He came back to the school a couple of years ago to speak about his experience as a veteran and said that it was like being 18-years-old again. And then, the seniors at the school did this:
