Ladies and gentlemen, the real-life Forrest Gump.

Navy veteran Tommy Zurhellen has been walking 22 miles per day across the United States in honor of the 22 veterans who commit suicide every day. He started walking in April in Oregon and plans to end his journey in his hometown of Poughkeepsie, New York, where he's also the commander of his local VFW.

He says that he's also doing it for the exorbitant number of homeless veterans, which is topping out at 40,000.

Tommy has a GoFundMe and, when he returns, all of the money will be donated to Hudson River Housing and Vet 2 Vet Dutchess County.

Amazing. Thank you for your service of ALL kinds, Tommy.
