The Humane Society of Genesee County will be hosting a Kitten Shower all week long. There will be games, contests, and more. The virtual event will help the HSGC stock up on supplies for their busy kitten season. From special formula, to kitty litter, and even nursing bottles, the need is great.

This time of year tends to see quite a few litters of kittens as well as expectant mama cats on the streets and with nowhere to go. Although the HSGC is there to provide care and comfort, taking care of so many little ones can be expensive.

How to Donate to the Kitten Shower

Donating is easy to do. The HSGC has created Amazon Wish List so you can shop from the comforts of your own home. You can check out the full list here. You can also donate to help all of the animals by selecting items on their Chewy Wish List. As always, monetary donations are greatly appreciated and can be made by clicking here.

The Kitten Shower will be going on all week, but on Friday, May 14th, the staff of HSGC will be set-up outside their location for you to drop off gifts. They will be passing out goodie bags with cookies donated by We'redough Bakery!  So stop out and say hi!

If you are considering adding a four legged baby to your household, please always  look to adopt, especially senior animals.

Take a look a some other fur babies looking to be adopted this week at the Humane Society of Genesee County. You can also check their website for more adoptable pets.
