Get the sunscreen ready! Tomorrow, May 25th is "Don't Fry Day", and the American Cancer Society, along with the National Council on Skin Cancer Prevention, reminds you to protect your skin as you head outdoors for the summer season. Skin cancer is the most common of all cancers and is easily preventable. Here are some tips to help. Ideas to help you avoid skin cancer in the sun this summer:

Slip in a shirt - to protect yourself from the rays

Slop on sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher

Wear a hat - You head and face will be protected

Use sunglasses - protect your eyes and sensitive skin around them from ultraviolet light

Pay attention to how much time you are spending in direct sunlight

Play it safe this summer for you and the kids, and make everyday
