You've no doubt channeled a chipmunk by sucking helium from a balloon, right? (If you haven't, put down your phone and go do it right now!) Well NBC newsman extraordinaire Lester Holt had a chance to "get the sillies out" as he explained on his Facebook page, by doing just the opposite.
The contents of this balloon was actually sulfur hexafluoride, and it gave Holt that cool Darth Vader sound.
Me want!!
Had a chance to get the sillies out today. You might have seen this on the Today Show, but Nick Uhas stopped by my office to demonstrate the effects of sulfur hexafluoride - it's sort of the helium effect in reverse.
