Great scott!!! This is exactly what we all needed to see right now. A moment of retro smiles and happiness all courtesy of the cast of the iconic film "Back to the Future".

The cast reunited for the second installment of "Reunited Apart" hosted by "Frozen" star Josh Gad. The new YouTube series brought back the trilogies stars to chat about the movie and even recreate a few favorite scenes by reciting those classic lines.

Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox joined Lea Thompson and Elisabeth Shue to talk about the legendary film and share stories about being on set. Mary Steenburgen, who appeared as Doc Brown's love interest in the 1990 "Back to the Future 3" also joined in along with director Robert Zemeckis and screenwriter Bob Gale.

The original "Back to the Future" debuted in 1985 and told the story of Marty McFly (played by Fox), a 17-year-old high school student, who is accidentally sent thirty years into the past in a time-traveling DeLorean invented by his close friend, the eccentric scientist Doc Brown (played by Lloyd).

Highlights of the episode included a nod to the successful songs from the film, "Power of Love" and "Back in Time", with an appearance by Huey Lewis and composer Alan Silvestri who wrote and performed both tunes. The other special surprise came at the very end as Claudia Wells, who actually played Marty McFly’s girlfriend Jennifer in the first movie made a quick appearance. She was re-cast by Shue for the second and third films.

The talented cast of the new "Back to the Future" musical provided a perfect end to the incredible reunion by offering up a "recorded in isolation performance of "Power of Love" to honor the incomparable cast and films.

The special episode also served as a fundraiser for Project Hope and its COVID-19 recovery and relief efforts.
