The Michigan County at the Highest Risk for Measles Is….

Researchers used international data to calculate the 25 counties in the United States that are most at-risk for a measles outbreak, and one Michigan county made the top 12.
Wayne County comes in at #11 on the list. Researchers say that the decreas in vaccinations and increase in international travel are to blame for one of the biggest measles outbreaks in over 20 years.
Cook County, IL came in at #1. Only one other Michigan county came in the top 50 - Kent County rings in at #50.
