The Good News: Real Life ‘Elf on the Shelf’ In Chesaning [VIDEO]
"If one person smiles, if I made one person happy, then I did my job."
Kay Bowers is 4 foot, 9 inches tall, weighing only a hundred pounds. She pops in and out of stores in Chesaning, striking a pose on shelves and waving at people on the corner.
And she's 62-years-old.
"That was my goal. Every day when I put this on, if one person smiles, if I made one person happy, then I did my job," Bowers told ABC 12.
And people around town absolutely love it.
"I think she brings a little holiday spirit to Chesaning," said Tina Mendyk from Schultz Pharmacy.
It's hard to get into the Christmas spirit, with the weather being so fantastic (trust me, I'm not complaining). But it's nice to see somebody actually taking it upon themselves to do something that will make others smile.
Thank you Kay, for sharing this on the Cars 108 Facebook page!
