The Good News: Blind Dog Named ‘Christmas’ Rescued from Well [VIDEO]

The dog, who was originally an unnamed stray, fell into a 26-foot-deep well in Bosnia and was trapped for months.

He survived because of local children, who tossed food down to him. Sadly, nobody knows why he wasn't rescued sooner.

When a rescue group called Harmony Fund found out, they sent local rescuers to help. A man, strapped to a harness, descended into the well...and returned with the dog. They named him "Christmas" since his rescue was so close to the holiday.

He's now up for adoption. I cried while watching the video...they saved Christmas!! Love!
