He says that it was an item that he wanted to "check off" of his bucket list.

Arne Mayala, an 85-year-old Navy veteran, decided to take up tap dancing at a dance studio in Minnesota. His wife says that he was always a big fan of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Mayala now travels 40 miles every week for each dance class.

The owner of the dance studio, Robin Lind, told Today.com, "You're never too old to pursue your dreams." She was so inspired, she decided to start a dance class at her mom's assisted living facility, saying, "They just want to move. They want to have fun."

When AJ was an Irish dancer in her early 20s, she was in an adult class and there was a 70-year-old woman in one of her dance classes. She's now in her 80s and STILL attends class! It's truly never too late!
