Taylor Swift Skips Awards Show for Brother’s Play [PHOTO]

I'm sure the Taylor-haters will find a way to throw her shade for this, but I think it's pretty great. 

Everybody who's ANYBODY was at the European Music Awards (basically the VMAs of Europe) over the weekend....except Taylor Swift. And she wasn't that far away from us!

Taylor skipped the EMAs to go to South Bend, Indiana. Her brother Austin is a theater major at Notre Dame, and he was performing in "Six Characters In Search of an Author." So she skipped the awards overseas to cheer on her brother.

I just don't care what the haters say...this girl is my favorite.
