Football Player Suffers Season-Ending Injury While Celebrating [VIDEO]
Whether you fly the green & white or blue and mustard (or whatever it is), Michigan and Michigan State fans agree on very few things. One item on that list is their longtime rivalries with Notre Dame. In fact, Michigan is still wondering 'WTF?' after Notre Dame cancelled their upcoming contest with the Wolverines. Perhaps the Fighting Irish still don't feel lucky enough to pull out the win.
But all that friendly competition went to the sidelines over the weekend as Notre Dame's Drue Tranquill season came to an abrupt end. During a face off with Georgia Tech over the weekend Tranquill broke up a pass. Then he chest-bumped a teammate in celebration, and that victory quickly turned into agony when he landed and tore his ACL. It doesn't matter what jersey you stand behind, it sucks to see any player suffer this kind of an injury.
