Take a Look Inside Flint’s Newly Restored Capitol Theatre [VIDEO]
Yesterday's grand reopening proves that downtown Flint is a force to be reckoned with.
Thank you SO MUCH to Ashley and Jarret at The Whiting for inviting us down to the Capitol Theatre for a tour!
The building, was opened in 1928 and closed in 1990, has been restored and is ready to house concerts, plays, movies, etc.
It includes a black box theatre, which can full function at the same time as the main auditorium. It seats 180 and can also be used for events.
The chairs in the main auditorium can be removed so that astroturf can be put down, and Flint residents can enjoy an indoor park movie under the "stars."
What an absolutely WONDERFUL job by everybody involved!
