After watching this video I feel like a sissy. The village of Los Pinos is in the middle of the Colombian jungle. To get to school kids either have to walk around a 1,200-foot gorge or use a 1,300-foot zip line to go over it.
They use a piece of wood as a brake, so they don't slam into the tires on the other side at 40 miles an hour. You'll feel better about your commute after watching this.
Take
Have you ever been on a zipline? They can be fun, but they can also cause some problems when used at the wrong time, like while under the influence of your favorite adult beverage. Check out this wedding zipline stunt that didn't go so well.
